MCA Circular on holding of annual general meeting (AGM) through video conferencing (VC) or other audiovisual means (OAVM)
It has been decided by MCA that companies be allowed to convene their meeting through video conferencing or other audiovisual means during the calendar year 2020 subject to the fulfillment of the following requirements:
- Only special business, which is unavoidable by the Board may be conducted.
- Sending of physical copies of financial statements is not required and can be sent by email.
- Even if the physical holding of meetings is allowed in any place, members should be allowed to participate in the meetings through virtual means.
